French Couture from Midwest

 As you can see from my posts, I love lace. There is something so feminine about it that makes it so irresistible to me. This lace Christian Lacroix ensemble was bought for me by my parents. They stumbled upon it on their trip to Kansas City, Missouri, many years ago. There is a beautiful department store there called "Halls" created by Hallmark founder Joyce C. Hall in 1916. I wear this outfit over and over again and it never gets old to me. That's what I love the most about classical pieces. They are timeless.
