Little black dress is always a good idea whether it is for a cocktail hour, a date or a party. It can be as simple as one wants it to be or with sparkly embellishment as shown in this dress. When it is styled with high heels and red lips, a mature sophisticated look is formed. Happy long week-end! XOXO.
Some dresses need no explanation. They are a statement on their own and I feel this dress does that for me. It is dressy and bohemian at the same time. When I tried it on in Paris, I fell in love with its shape. It made me feel so feminine. Since the dress has so much of its own going on, I wear minimal accessories with it. Usually I wear it with a pair of high heel sandals but this time I tried it out with floral wedges. I am not quite sure if it works or not but it was fun trying it out:) Happy Monday! XOXO
Shorts have made a major presence in this summer's trends and by shorts I mean extremely short shorts. As much as I love seeing others rock lengths that short, I can't pull it off myself. Like most people, my body image insecurities go straight to my thighs. So just because mini shorts are trending right now, it does not mean that we all have to follow it. The fun part of styling is concealing our worst parts and emphasizing the better ones. For my body type and confidence, shorts just a bit above knee length are the right kind. Not too short, not too long. What's your favorite short length?
Cutout dresses have caught my attention this season. Mostly because of where they are cutout. Belly-baring has never been a favorite trend of mine, especially lower belly, but today's cutout is all about a slight peek onto upper abdomens. This dress is pretty much the maximum of my belly-baring length comfort and as a bonus it has bows to help conceal. Happy Monday!
